Lucy Plaisance LeDoux, 74, passed away on August 4, 2018 at a local hospital.
Ms. LeDoux was born in Gueydan, LA and lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She worked as a Bingo Manager for the Calcasieu Council on Aging for over 25 years. She was also a member of the McNeese Cowboy Club. Her family fondly remembers her as a prankster.
Ms. LeDoux is survived by 5 children, Tina Snider of Lake Charles, Tammy Ardoin of Lake Charles, Greg Douvio and wife Jody of Huffman, TX, Troy Douvio and wife Carita of Lake Charles, and Kimberly LeDoux of Lake Charles; 4 grandchildren, Adam Snider, Jade Simpson, Denny Douvio, Colby Douvio; 5 great grandchildren, Lakelynn Calingasan, Carly Sarvant, Cameron Salcedo, Destanii Douvio, and Logan Douvio; 2 sisters, Sharon Plaisance and Ann Perry and husband Mike of Waller, TX; brother, Darrell Plaisance and wife Yvonne of Topsy, LA; godfather, JB Marceaux and wife Rose of Houma, LA; ex-husband, JD LeDoux; step-daughter, Candy Pipe; and her beloved dog, Peanut.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy Plaisance and Gladys M Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 7 at 11AM. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A brief graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens following the service. Monsignor Danny Torres will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Tuesday morning.
