Linda Vezina Haverkamp

Linda Kay Vezina Haverkamp, 60, of Moss Bluff, LA, died on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in her residence.

Mrs. Haverkamp was born January 3, 1957, graduated from Sam Houston High School and lived most of her life in Moss Bluff. Linda loved the beach, shopping and enjoyed riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed searching for antiques, collecting cookie jars and liked to color and listen to music. She will always be remembered for her happy nature, her sense of humor, and as a good cook.

Mrs. Haverkamp is survived by her husband of nine years, Paul Haverkamp of Moss Bluff; her spoiled Yorkie, Mollie; children, Jennifer Stark of Moss Bluff, Justin Vezina of Sulphur and Kayla Vezina of Lake Charles; step-children, Jeb Haverkamp of Lake Charles, Amy Wigley of Gonzales, LA, Cassie Mott of Lake Charles, and Eric Haverkamp of Lake Charles; mother, Lois Luckett of Moss Bluff; sisters, Wanda Leake of Moss Bluff and Donna Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ; brothers, Howard Maddox of Georgia, Wendel Luckett of Moss Bluff and Mitchell Carrol of Moss Bluff; and twelve grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Stark; and brother, Amos Maddox.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and continue on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service.
