Lindal Caswell Herndon, 65, of Sulphur went to be with his Lord on April 26, 2014 surrounded by his family. He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. Lindal was an artist and photographer enjoying acrylic painting and had limited editions of art prints. His photography business was known as "Lin's Studio". Lindal was a dedicated Christian husband and father. Lindal is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Herndon. Daughters, Hope Creel, (Bobby), Lori Laughlin, Joy Wesson, (Joshua), Faith Swartz, (Jason) and Lydia Fisher, (Scott). He was blessed with 17 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Evelyn Herndon; and sisters, Janis Adams and Sharilyn Anaker. He was preceded in death by his father, Caswell Herndon. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 2516 Riley St. in Sulphur with Bobby Creel and Joshua Wesson officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Pastor Arvin Harrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 12 noon until time of the service.
