Linzi Dawn Koonce

Linzi Dawn Koonce, 28, of Lake Charles passed away, Friday, April 29, 2011 in a local hospital.

She was a native and lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. Linzi was a graduate of Bell City High School and also Sowela Tech with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Survivors include her parents, Charles and Eva (Newman) Kinnison; her brother, Charles A. Kinnison, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Robert and Stella LeJeune all of Lake Charles; Aunts and Uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her pet dogs, Red and Copper. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenson and Berthaline Newman.

Her funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 1, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Tom McClelland will officiate. Burial will be in the Hayes Cemetery in Hayes, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of services, Sunday, in the funeral home.
