Lisa Hope Walker

Lisa Hope Walker, 56, of Lake Charles passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 in the comfort of her home. Miss Walker was born in Cherry Point, NC and raised in many areas as she traveled with her Father's career in the Marine Corps. She was a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School. Miss Walker lived twenty five years in Glade Water, TX and has resided in Lake Charles for the past year and a half. She was a talented guitarist and will be most remembered for her love of music. She attended Waters Edge Gathering Church. Miss Walker will always have a special place in the hearts of her family. She leaves two sons, Shane Walker of Wilmington, NC and Christopher Findley of Longview, TX; step-son, David Findley of Lake Charles; four grandchildren; her mother, Barbara Bartholomew Walker of Wilmington, NC; sister, Dina Joy Walker of Hilton Head, SC; two brothers, Christopher Lyle Walker of Wilmington, NC and Kevin George Walker of Wrightsville Beach, NC and dear friend (God Mother to her son), Rita Sensat of Lake Charles. She was preceded in death by her Father, Joe George Walker. In respect of Miss Walker's wishes Memorial Services will be at a later date.
