Lj Caswell

LJ Caswell, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, May 1, 2023.  LJ served in the United States Air Force for twenty years and traveled all over the world to serve our country.  After serving, he made his way back to Louisiana and worked construction for several years.  He was known for his gentle spirit and always willing to help others. Most of all, LJ was a loving husband and a devoted father.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Maureen Caswell; son, Jason Caswell; daughter, Melissa Caswell; brother, Edward Caswell; sisters, Nancy Barrentine and Jennie Landry; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton, Sr. and Nancy Fontenot Caswell; his brothers, Wilton Caswell, Jr., Nolan Caswell and John Wayne Caswell; and his sisters, Joann Caswell, Dorothy Jean Caswell, Lorina Fontenot and Sadie Johnson.

A celebration of life with military honors for LJ will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of service. 

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
