Lloyd Ellis Fontenot

Lloyd Ellis Fontenot, 46, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 6:00 AM on Monday, May 7, 2018 in a local hospital.

Lloyd was born September 1, 1971 in Lake Charles, LA and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. During his career, he worked for the DOTD and as a transmission mechanic. He was an avid fisherman and loved to cook. Lloyd was full of life and will be missed dearly.

Lloyd is survived by his only son, Erron Fontenot of Sulphur, LA; fiancée, Jennifer Savois of Lake Charles; step-brother, Jeffrey Smiley of Lacassine; aunt, Coleen Farque and husband Darryl; uncles, Robert D. Fontenot and wife Audry and Jay Fontenot and wife Leann; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Fontenot and Betty DeRouen Terral.

His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
