Lloyd Joseph Daigle

Lloyd Joseph Daigle, 87, of Lake Charles died at 10:45 AM on Tuesday, June 05, 2012 in his residence.

Mr. Daigle was a native of Evangeline Parish and a resident of Lake Charles, LA. He retired as an operator at Firestone and later owned and operated Lloyd's Lounge where he also retired from. Mr. Daigle was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 68 years, Elnora Daigle of Lake Charles; a grandson, Wayne Joseph Daigle, Jr. and wife Becky of Deridder, LA; two sisters, Wava Pousson of Westlake and Dora Bertrand of Lake Arthur; and a brother, Floyd Daigle of Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adros and Eula Daigle; a son, Wayne Joseph Daigle, Sr.; and two brothers, Edjus and Hayes Daigle.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2012 at St. Margaret Catholic Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
