Lloyd Joseph Hebert, Jr. was born on February 28, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
On July 18, 2013, he heard the words, Well done, my good and faithful servant.
Lloyd lived in Moss Bluff for over 45 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. He was a 34 year employee of Baker Hughes Inc in Broussard, LA as a pipe conveying specialist/general operator in the deepwater offshore wireline division. He was a kind, generous, hard-working, and honest man. Though he loved to hunt and fish, caring for his family was his greatest passion.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Gay Lynn Hebert; daughters, Brandi Sharpton and husband Robert Bubba Sharpton of Ragley, Brooke Hebert of Baton Rouge, grandchildren Cade and Carli Beth Sharpton; parents Lloyd and Gloria Hebert of Carencro; brothers Eric and wife Sharel Hebert of Moss Bluff, Danny and wife Lucie Hebert of Carencro; sisters Aileen and husband Jimmy Rhodes of Many, Cheryl and Dana Pitre of Cypress, TX, Nannette and Barry Brunet of Houma; mother-in-law Opal Wilks of Moss Bluff; and many other cherished family and friends.
He was preceded in death by Mack and Nettie Rodrigue, Andrew and Clevia Hebert all of Houma; his friend and father-in-law Daniel Lee Wilks and his mother-in-law Lottie Smith of Moss Bluff.
His funeral will be held on Sunday, July 21st at 3:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Brother James Rivers will officiate. Burial will be at Birdnest Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, July 20th at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Sunday at 10:00 PM until the times of services.
