Lloyd "L G" Lopez

Lloyd “L G “ George Lopez, 86, of Sulphur Passed away on August 1, 2018. Lloyd was born on February 12, 1932 to Nesey and Alite Lopez in Jennings, LA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Velda Lopez, of Sulphur, LA; seven Children, Sue Crochet and husband Wade of Moss Bluff, LA, Gail Brown and husband Don of Lake Charles, LA, Greg Lopez and wife Allison of Sulphur, LA, Cathy Carrier of Sulphur, LA, Alison Guidry and husband Billy of Carlyss, LA, Rosalind Mercer and husband Mike of Sulphur, LA and Patrick Lopez of Sulphur, LA; 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings; three grandchildren, Matthew Crochet, Daniel Crochet, and Erica Lopez; and son-in-law, Danny Carrier.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau officiating. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM Cursillo Rosary at the funeral home with visitation continuing on Saturday, August 4,  from 11:00 AM until time of services.
