Lloyd Ray "Bubba" Derouen, 66, of Austin, TX formally of Bell City, LA passed away on October 23, 2018. Born to Minor Lee Derouen and Edith (Marcantel) Derouen in Lake Charles, LA. Bubba loved being outside in his garden, spending time with his family, fishing and hunting. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. His sweet spirit and sense of humor will be remembered by all. He is survived by his wife, Karen; step mother, Christine; sisters, Jenny, Kathy, Mechelle and Tudie; brothers, Jim and Joel; children, Courtney, Joseph, Chelsea; grandsons, Jacob and Jaxon; granddaughter, Maesyn; nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation and Rosary will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 starting at 5:00PM to 8:00PM and resuming Saturday morning, October 27 at 11AM until the start of the service at Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA 70605). Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 3 pm at Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA 70605). Deacon George Carr will officiate. Graveside services to follow at the Derouen Family Cemetery on Lorraine Rd in Hayes, LA.
