Lois Miriam Long

Lois Miriam Long, 90, went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 6, 2015 in Lakeland, Florida. Mrs. Long was a loving mother, grandmother and caregiver. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are 6 daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Bob Maywhort of Fort Payne, Alabama, Barbara and Glenn Dixon of Lakeland, Florida, Gail LeBlanc of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Bonnie and Bill Umphrey of Norman, Oklahoma, Belinda and Rick Lloyd of Jacksonville, Florida and Julie and Donny Myers of Lake Charles, Louisiana; 2 sons, Berry Lowell Long of Moore, Oklahoma and Tedd Allen Long of Cocoa Beach, Florida; 29 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tedd Long; 2 daughters, Brenda Louise and Deborah Kay. Funeral services for Mrs. Long will be conducted on Tuesday August 11, 2015 at 11AM at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, Louisiana with Bro. Joel Faulk and Bro. Andrew Martin officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday August 10, 2015 from 4-8 PM with visitation continuing at 10 AM the day of service. Interment will follow in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
