Lola Ann Dotson Kelly

Lola Dotson Kelly, 79, of Lake Charles, died Tuesday November 18, 2014 at a local hospital after an extended illness. Lola was a native of Oakdale and a graduate of Oakdale High School and McNeese State University. She retired from the State of Louisiana, Department of Parole and Probation with over 20 years of service and was a member of Lake City Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Austin Dotson, Sr. and Lola Mae Johnson Dotson; sister, Doris O'Banion; brothers, Rex Osborn Dotson and Gene Dotson and son, Jody Hulin. She is survived by her brother, William Austin Dotson, Jr. and wife Octavia as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Private graveside inurnment will be at a later date in Oakdale.
