Lola Granger McBride Lola Sucoo Granger McBride, 92 passed away on June 21, 2013 in a local hospital. She was born on September 30, 1920. Lola worked at the Calcasieu Marine Bank and The Strategic Oil Reserve at the Sulphur Mines in Sulphur and Hackberry, LA. She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America for 65 years. She was also a member of the Sulphur FFA Mothers Club and a Louisiana High School Rodeo Supporter for over 20 years. Lola is survived by her three sons, Dickie McBride and wife, Pat, Dale Bubba McBride and Bill McBride and wife, Teresa; two daughters, Gail Hanchey and husband, Doug and Janie Lott and husband, Butch; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Lucretia Granger; husband, Milton McBride; son, James Milton McBride; grandchildren, Steve Joseph McBride, Aaron Golden, and Kenzie Golden Roden. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Tom Huhn officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation resuming at 9 a.m .on Monday until the time of service.
