Lola Maxine West

Graveside services for Mrs. Lola Maxine West, 78, of Lake Charles, will be held at 2pm, February 9, 2011 in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Lake Charles. Michael Robinson and Lorie Altazan will officiate. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Robison Funeral Home. Lola Maxine Chandler West was born August 02, 1932 to Clarence and Rettie Chandler. She went home to heaven on February 8. Maxine was a graduate of Westlake High School where she excelled in sports. She traveled extensively and resided in several states before returning to Lake Charles. More than anything else she loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Rettie Chandler; husband Col. Bobby West; daughter, Terry Landry and grandson Ricky Landry. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Callaway; sisters, Marcelene Thornton and husband Wade; Bonnie Rasberry and husband George, brother, Robert Chandler and wife Lou; granddaughters, Becki Myatt, and Tammy Landry; grandsons, Chris Vallery; David and Isaac Myatt and great granddaughters, Chandler Landry and Macy Rakestraw.
