Lonnie Daniel Reisner

Lonnie Daniel Reisner, 78, of DeQuincy LA, went to be with his Lord and savior on April 5, 2022. He was born on January 22, 1944, to the late August Charles and Marie Rosella Reisner.  Lonnie worked alongside his twin brother as his helper, a handyman for apartment complexes and auto mechanics. He loved riding horses and looked forward to going with his sister-n-law to care for them so that he could ride. He also loved to dance, ride bicycles and go for visits. Lonnie will be most remembered for his happy spirit and playing pranks.

He leaves to cherish his memory, brothers, Ronnie Marshall Reisner (Charlotte) of Starks and Roy Frederick Reisner of Austin; nieces, Tiffany Vallery (Kevin) of Starks and Carolyn Pellerin (Carl); nephews, Dwayne Behan (Wilba) of Deweyville and Gene LeBlanc of Orange, TX; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, August and Marie Reisner; sister, Suella Cleveland Helms and three brothers, Clement Reisner, Edward Reisner and August Reisner Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 11, 2022 at Miller Cemetery Annex in Starks, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Pastor Karl Smith will officiate.
