Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Lora Bell Sis OQuain, 89 passed away on January 27, 2014 in a local care center. She is survived by her seven daughters, Mary Vincent and husband, Johnny, Carol Wright, Stella Pea Nut Trahan, Jenny Jones and husband, Paul, Brenda Browning and husband, Sam, Rose Mays and husband, Eddie, and Lora Lee Duhon and husband, Shawn; son, James Valentine OQuain; sister, Tina Taylor; 3 brothers, Jr. Chris Vincent of Sulphur, Chris Jr. Baby Vincent of Carlyss, and Jesse Vincent of Iowa; 24 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Valentine Tiny OQuain, son, Larry James OQuain, daughter, Betty Jane Shanabarger, grandson, Thomas James Trahan, sister, Rose Anna Jardneaux, 5 brothers, Woodrow Vincent, Lloyd Buzo Vincent, James Son Vincent, Eugene Pete Vincent and Walter Dick Vincent. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. until time of the service.
