Lorene Lucille Forsythe

Lorene Lucille Forsythe, 89 passed away on March 31, 2013 in her residence. Lorene was a native of Bowie, TX and a longtime Sulphur resident. She worked for many years as an office manager of Century Steps. After retirement, she and her husband, Bill traveled around the US and Canada. Lorene was a member of Maplewood First Baptist Church and enjoyed all the pleasures of family and her grandchildren. Lorene is survived by her son, William Forsythe III and wife, Cherie of Lake Charles; brother, Jack E. Hollis and wife, Elwanda of Electra, TX; and granddaughter, Jennifer Forsythe of Metairie, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Forsythe Jr.; and 3 brothers, Elmo, Carlos and Milton Hollis. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3,2013 at 2 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Burke officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 10 a.m. at Robison Funeral Home until time of service.
