Loretta June Guillory

Loretta June Guillory was born May 31, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to Edgar Doyle and Bertie Lois Zimmerman.

Upon her father’s retirement from the military, Lake Charles became her home. In her younger years she enjoyed swimming at local watering holes and spending time with friends.  As a young adult, she married and had her first daughter, Lona. She then met the love of her life, Tony, and together they welcomed Leslie into the world and became a family of four.  

She enjoyed the simple things in life such as spending time with her family, listening to music (classic rock being her favorite), playing board games, watching TV, and tending to her animals.

She was welcomed into Heaven on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 by: father Edgar Doyle Zimmerman; in-laws, Donald Jean Guillory & Brenda Kay Devall.

Those left to cherish her memory; her husband of thirty-eight years, Tony Lamar Guillory; two daughters, Lona Day (David) Shipp and Leslie Kay Guillory; grandchildren, Dylan, Olivia, Lyric, and Sawyer; mother, Bertie Lois Zimmerman; three brothers, Ronnie (Carol) Zimmerman, Donnie (Clada) Zimmerman, and Jimmy (Kathy) Zimmerman.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Family to host gathering soon.
