Lorraine Ann Perry

Lorraine Ann Perry, 92, passed away peacefully Monday, July 26, 2021.

A Chicago, Illinois native, Lorraine moved to Sulphur five years ago to live with her son and his wife.  She worked in the banking industry until she was 83 years young.  She absolutely loved her two dogs and enjoyed spoiling them. Lorraine enjoyed being pampered and gourmet chocolate candy. She will be remembered for her feisty, yet sweet and kind spirit and her love of family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are four children, Charles Perry, Jr. and wife Mary Ellen of Hoffman Estates, IL, Patrick Perry and wife Virginia of Sulphur, LA, Lori Ann Perry of Gilberts, IL, and Terry Perry of Crystal Lake, IL; son-in-law, Irv Thom of Downers Grove, IL; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews including Cantrece Johnson and Melissa Johnson Pitts, who held a special place in her heart.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Perry, Sr; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Perry Thom; sister, Jacqueline Johnson and her husband, Bill; and mother, Ann LaFave.

Services honoring Lorraine will be 2pm, Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Johnson & Robison Funeral of Sulphur. The family will hold a memorial Service at a later date in her hometown of Chicago, IL. Cremation will be entrusted to Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur.
