Mrs. Lorraine Beauxis Boudreaux passed away peacefully in her home on December 17, 2013 at 7:50 a.m. Lorraine was born on December 30, 1932 in Abbeville, Louisiana. She was married to AJ Boudreaux on December 24, 1951. They were happily married for 62 years. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School and worked as a legal secretary for 45 years. She resided with her husband in Westlake LA. They were members of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Lorraine was an avid reader and a wonderful cook who loved to bake for her family. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and was beloved by all that knew her. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents Aristide and Lita Beauxis, her brother Donald Beauxis, her sister Juanita Leblanc, and by her grandchildren Ryan Talyor Boudreaux and Adam Paul Boudreaux. Lorraine is survived by her husband AJ Boudreaux, her children Bryan and Charlotte Boudreaux, Charlie and Sheila Boudreaux, Al and Theresa Boudreaux, Christopher and Sheryl Boudreaux, Rusty and Stephanie Boudreaux, and Jennifer Boudreaux, her grandchildren Shane and Karen Boudreaux, Jessica and Donald Arabie, Bryan and Victoria Boudreaux, Lacy and Shane Floyd, Scott Boudreaux, Lindsay Boudreaux, Alex Boudreaux, Cannon Boudreaux, Robert Boudreaux, Abigail Boudreaux, and Sam Boudreaux, her great grandchildren Brant Morton, Daylan Arabie, Grace Boudreaux, Aiden Arabie, Oliver Crump, Brody Boudreaux, Ryver Floyd, Lane Boudreaux, Brylee Boudreaux, and Tatum Floyd. The family of Lorraine would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers Tracy Wingate, Jackie Guidry, Debra Armelin and Bunny Cormier. We couldn't have asked for a more dedicated and caring group of women who went above and beyond to provide excellent love and care for her. Services will be Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2:00PM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake, LA. Father Mike Barras will officiate. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4:00PM until 9:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home with a Rosary to be held at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Friday at 9:00AM until 1:30 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's association or to St. John Bosco Catholic Church.
