Lottie Lambert Landreneau

June 19, 1942 — December 10, 2021

Lottie Delilah Lambert Landreneau, 79, of Lake Charles entered into Heaven Friday, December 10, 2021 in the comfort of her son’s home.

Mrs. Landreneau was a native of Lake Charles where she lived most of her life.  A graduate of Marion High School, she was a member of the Class of 1960 Reunion Committee and looked forward to their monthly lunch dates.  She worked her younger years as switch board operator and periodically for many years as a switchboard operator and data entry clerk at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.  She enjoyed reading, watching TV, drinking tea and clowning around with her sons.  Her greatest joy was devoting her life and her love to her family.  Mrs. Landreneau will be most remembered as an independent lady with a  beautiful smile and witty personality.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Richard David Landreneau and wife Laura and Paul Aaron Landreneau, both of Lake Charles; daughter, Renee Landreneau Madden (Tim) of Tomball, TX; five grandchildren, Trevor Madden and wife Jessie of Severance, CO, Alec Landreneau and fiancé, Victoria Dubroc, Jared Landreneau of Baton Rouge, Zane Landreneau of Lake Charles and Nicholas Duffel of Tampa, FL; one great-granddaughter, Arya Landreneau of Lake Charles; one brother, William A. Lambert of Houston, TX and neighbor and dear friend, Therese Doland of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Richard D. Landreneau; parents, Joseph Green Lambert and Virgie Le Franc Lambert and six siblings.

A Memorial gathering of family and friends will be Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 4590 Corbina Road, Lake Charles, LA 70607.  Private Graveside services will be held at Sallier Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.

The family of Mrs. Landreneau wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Michael A. Bergeron, Erica Meyers and the nurses of Harbor Hospice for their excellence in care and kindness throughout her journey.
