Lou Anna Young Hebert

July 1, 1927 — May 6, 2012

Lou Anna Young Hebert, 84, of Sulphur died Sunday May 6, 2012 in a local hospital.


Mrs. Hebert was born, raised and educated in Eunice, lived nearly fifty years in Lake Charles and has lived the past year in Sulphur. She enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls and visiting on the phone. Mrs. Hebert was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.


She will be most remembered as friendly and a social butterfly, as she never met a stranger.


She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Dwight Savoie and wife Wendy and Shane Hebert of Austin, TX; two daughters, Sharon Furs and husband Jerry and Sheila Hebert Bergstedt and husband Scott of Sulphur; eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-nine years, Delmus Hebert; two brothers and five sisters.


Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 09, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Bill Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. Visitation Wednesday will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
