Louise G. McCardle, 92, of Lake Charles, La died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born on February 26, 1922 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the parents of Telise and Raymond Gaspard. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. In her spare time she loved to watch her grandchildren participate in rodeos across Louisiana. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue McCardle, her grandchildren Chad and Lori of Grand Lake, LA, Casey and Tawanna of Grand Lake, LA, Cheree McCardle and Josh Richard of Grand Lake, LA; great grandchildren, Skylar McCardle, Luke McCardle, Eli Richard, and Slate McCardle ;sisters, Thelma Shepherd of Grand Lake, LA, Enell Nash of Lake Charles, LA, Gerdell Theriot, of Lake Charles, LA, Sylvia and Harold Mangum of Lake Charles, LA, Nelvia and Guy Murphy of Creole, LA; three brothers, Nadel and Beverly Gaspard, Nolan Gaspard and John and Sharon Gaspard all of Lake Charles, LA; brother- in-law, Clifford and Helen McCardle; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth H. McCardle; one son, Kenneth R. McCardle; parents, Raymond and Telise Gaspard; two brothers, Glyn and Kirby Gaspard; three sisters, Verda Williams, Letha Vincent, and Carolyn Primeaux. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, December 29, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home with a Cursillo Rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM Monday, December 29, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate services. The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice, Southern Home Health, her brothers and sisters, and the loving help of Choppy Guillotte.
