Louise Jacobson

November 2, 1934 — July 25, 2024

Louise Greer Jacobson, beloved wife of Tom Jacobson, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday evening, July 25, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Louise, 89, was born on November 2, 1934 in Alexandria, Louisiana to George and Iva Greer. She graduated from Marksville High School and went on to receive her nursing degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Thomas “Tom,” and her children, Valarie (Tommy) Cochran of Sweetlake, LA, Andy (Becky) Jacobson and Eddie Jacobson (Jeff O’Keefe) of Lake Charles.

Louise loved her grandchildren, Jordan (Erica) Precht, William (Elizabeth) Precht, Taylor (Dustin) Smart, and Brydon (Samantha) Jacobson. She adored her great grandbabies, Reed, Grayson, Henry and Piper.

Louise was a brilliant Bible scholar, an avid reader, pianist and caring nurse. After raising her children, she began work at Sale Street Baptist Church Daycare Center, St. Patrick Hospital, Nutri-Systems, and Brisco Substance Abuse Clinic.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ron Lewis as well as the compassionate staff of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, as well as Cornerstone of St. Patrick Hospital for the excellent care they provided.
