Louise Theresa Thibodeaux

Louise Theresa Thibodeaux, 86, of Sulphur, LA passed away on October 3, 2023, in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born on July 18, 1937, in Vinton, LA to Joseph and Melva Chesson. She enjoyed camping and spending time enjoying the great outdoors and the peaceful retreats over the years. Louise loved people dearly and never met a stranger and loved being around family and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are her two children, Philip Thibodeaux and Cindy Richard Smith and Jeff Thibodeaux; 3 grandchildren, Lindsey Thibodeaux Scott and husband Jeshurun, Brett James Starnes, and Jennifer Starnes; and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her two children, Michael James Thibodeaux and Anita Louise Thibodeaux; parents, Joseph and Melva Chesson; and loving husband, James Charles “Jimmy” Thibodeaux.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM rosary on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery. Fr. Michael Beverung will officiate services.
