Lucia Jane Ardoin Fuselier

Lucia Jane Ardoin Fuselier, 74, of Moss Bluff passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in the comfort of her home.

Mrs. Fuselier was born in Jennings, raised and educated in Hathaway and has lived forty years in Moss Bluff. She managed Southern Cleaners for the past fifteen years. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Fuselier enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband and family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest times were those shared with her children and grandchildren. She will be most remembered as a genuinely kind woman.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Wilson Fuselier, Jr. and wife Vita; one daughter, Reta Fontenot; five grandchildren, Mandie Thibodeaux and husband Joseph, Jessica Ellender and husband David, Sonya Fuselier, Leon Fuselier and Kenny Fuselier, all of Moss Bluff; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Elroy Ardoin and wife Phyllis of Spring, TX; three sisters, Elaine Stockton and husband Ted and Geneva Fuselier, both of Hathaway and Anna Breaux of Maurice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Fuselier, Sr.; one granddaughter, Lucia Mae Fontenot and one brother, Kenneth Paul Ardoin.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 03, 2013 in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery near Elton. Visitation Saturday will be from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Visitation Sunday will be from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM in the funeral home.
