Lucille Ann Chapman

Lucille A. Chapman, on Monday, February 23rd 2015, went home to be with the Lord. Lucille at the age of 73, died peacefully at home surrounded by family due to complications of colon cancer. Lucille was born April 9, 1941 in Lake Arthur, LA. She retired as a CNA from West Cal-Cam Hospital in Sulphur. Her favorite activity was playing with her great grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Burnell Chapman, Jr. and wife Tina, Robert Chapman, Sr. and wife Elizabeth; daughters, Vickie Hinton, Judy Hebert and husband Jacob, and Rachel Elliott and husband John; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyprien and Eva LaCombe; her husband, Burnell Chapman, Sr.; a daughter, Veronica Chapman; and her grandsons, David England and Robert Chapman, Jr. Funeral services will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel at 1 P.m. on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015. Pastor Marshal Baggett and Chris Guidroz will officiate. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Tuesday, February 24th , 2015at 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and continue on Wednesday at 10 A.M. until time of the service.
