Lucille Frances Hall, 81, of Lake Charles died Saturday, April 9, 2011 in a local healthcare facility.


Miss Hall was born in the Slagle, LA area, raised in the DeQuincy and Lake Charles areas and has lived the past fifteen years in Lake Charles. She served thirty years as a Pentecostal Minister and was a member of The Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy and Apostolic Temple United Pentecostal Church. She retired after nearly twenty years of service as a Custodian for South Beauregard High School. Miss Hall enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening.


She will be most remembered as a "praying woman" and a "2nd mother and grandmother" to her nephew, Earl Ryder and his family.


Miss Hall leaves to cherish her memory, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephew and her church family.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Hall; an infant brother; six brothers, Louis, Lloyd, Lee, Lonnie, Lawrence and Lester Hall and two sisters, Louvella Hall and Lorene Ryder.


Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in the Apostolic Temple United Pentecostal Church. Reverend Ricky Treece will officiate. Interment will follow in Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation Monday will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the funeral home. Visitation Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the church.
