Lucy Lucille Elizabeth Guillory Parker

Lucy Lucille Elizabeth Guillory Parker (Maw Maw Parker), 86 of Lake Charles, Louisiana went home to be with her Lord Sunday, April 29, 2018.

Lucy was born on January 29, 1932 in Eunice, Louisiana. Lucy was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA. Lucy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lucy loved to tend her garden where she grew many vegetables that she cooked with for her family and she also raised chickens and hogs. She was devoted Catholic. Her faith was strong her love even stronger.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pat Parker of Lake Charles.

Those left to cherish her memory are her six children; Brenda Parker of Sulphur, LA., Deborah Parker Derouen of Westlake, LA., Kenny Parker of Sulphur, LA., Patty Parker Pinder and her husband Darwin of DeQuincy, LA., Tony Parker and his wife Theresa of Lake Charles, Scott Parker and his wife Kathy of Lake Charles LA. Eight grandchildren; Paul Leger of Lake Charles, LA, Eric Miller of Moss Bluff, LA., Aubrey Bazinet of Topsy, Dawn Doucet of Westlake, LA., Ashley Parker of Westlake, LA., Dustin Guillory, Crystal Guimbellot of Woodworth, LA., Ashley King of Sulphur, LA., and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family at Johnson Funeral Home from 9 AM - 11 AM, Tuesday, May 1, 2018. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at Creel Cemetery in Reeves, LA;  it will be officiated by Fr. Borel.
