Lynda Ray Forar Barthelemy, 57, of Lake Charles passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. Barthelemy was born, raised and educated in Minnesota and has lived thirty four years in Lake Charles. She worked the past twenty years as a Clerk at Shop A Lot. She was well known and had many friendships that developed with her regular customers. Mrs. Barthelemy had a great love for animals. She was a woman with a kind, selfless heart. She asked for nothing, had very little but was always willing to give everything. Mrs. Barthelemy will be most remembered for her love of her daughters and grandchildren, as her greatest times were spent will them. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Amanda Barthelemy Maxeiner and husband Kenneth and Miranada Elizabeth Forar; son-in-law, Keith Brown and three grandchildren, Dylan, Dayton and Kaytlan Brown, all of Lake Charles; two brothers, Steve and David Forar; one sister, Mary Farnsworth and husband Arthur; three nieces; one nephew and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lucille Forar. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Kevin Burns will officiate. Visitation Friday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
