Lynetta Arabie Beaugh

Lynetta Arabie Beaugh, 77, of Lake Charles passed away early Thursday morning on January 18, 2024 in her residence.

Mrs. Beaugh was born on December 7, 1946 in Lake Charles where she resided all of her life.  She was a member of Christ the King parish.

She had an unwavering love for her family and was a steadfast and committed wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Beaugh was the glue that kept the family close by hosting family gatherings while preparing and serving her appetizing meals.  She was devoted to her family and she will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Verla Beaugh of Lake Charles, Monica Gospodarek (Tony) of Waxahachie, TX, Jessica Beaugh, Troy Beaugh (Melissa), Gary Beaugh, Jeremy Beaugh (Diana), and Cory Beaugh all of Lake Charles; siblings, Steven Arabie, Donna Suarez, and Cheryl Fontenot all of Lake Charles; and her beloved grandchildren, Mary, A.J., Molly, Brandy, Johnny, Deja, Jayde, Zane, Isabella, Brock, Gage, and Josie.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life for 53 years, Anthony “Tony” Beaugh; her parents, Lillian and Jessie Arabie; and four siblings.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.  Father Jerish George will officiate.  Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM.  Visitation will resume on Monday from 10:30 AM until leaving for the church at 12:30 PM.
