M. Patrice Harvey

Patrice Harvey, 71, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024, surrounded by loving family. Patrice was born October 30, 1952, to Jeanette Marguerite Delas and Irvin John Borne.

Patrice was born in raised in Baton Rouge, LA and she moved to Lake Charles, LA in 1975. She graduated from Istrouma High School in 1970 and continued her education at McNeese State University. She retired from the Eye Clinic in 2012 after dedicating 25 years of being a certified ophthalmic assistant. Patrice cherished time spent with friends and family and was deeply loved by those around her.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Kimberly Michelle Harvey Williams (Chad); grandchildren, Evan Williams (Lily), Elliot Williams, Drew Williams, Dylan Williams, Quinn Williams, and Cameron Williams; brothers, Irvin Borne, Jr. (Cindy), Stephen Borne (Patty), and Kevin Borne.

She is preceded in death by her husband Steven Michael Harvey; daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” J. Harvey; parents, Jeanette Marguerite Delas and Irvin John Borne; sister, Susan Borne Hollier.

A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday July 30, 2024, at 10:00am at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Prabhakar Kowtiki will be officiating services. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home Monday July 29, 2024, at 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A rosary will be said on Monday at 6:00pm. Burial will take place at Consolata Cemetery.
