M. Teresa Fuselier

February 1, 1948 — December 6, 2016

Teresa Fuselier, 68, of Moss Bluff, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 after a courageous 15 year battle against cancer.

Teresa was born to Grant and Norma Lewis in Sulphur.  She retired from her job as a Medicaid case worker for the State of Louisiana.  Teresa was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Teresa leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Elwin Fuselier; daughter, Wendy Williamson and husband Tim; son, John Wing; stepson, Mark Fuselier; grandchildren, Malori, Jay, Santana, Mekenzie, Laikyn, Joseph, Joshua, and Emily; great grandchildren, Marlie Mae, Anna Klair and Tinsley; sisters, Susan (Lennie) Broussard and Cassy (Mike) Ackel; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Matthew Lewis and his wife JoLynn.

Her pallbearers will be David Ackel, Damon Broussard, Lennie Broussard, Alex Navarre, Lee Richard, Jay Williamson, and honorary pallbearer Margaret Doucet.

Teresa’s family would like to thank Dr. Broussard and staff and LCMH Oncology and LCMH Home Health for the excellent care they gave her.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Carlyss with Father Luke Krzanowski, M.S. officiating.  Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Edgerly.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur from 4-8 PM, with a Cursillo rosary at 6 PM at her request, and resume on Saturday from 8 am until time of leaving for the church.
