Macel Stout

Macel Lenora Stout, 82, was called home on Friday, March 4, 2016 with her family by her side.  Macel was a retired office manager who owned two businesses of her own.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Macel was a member of the Eastern Star. 

Surviving Macel is her three daughters, Kim Gagneaux and husband, Dwayne, Charlotte Smith and husband, Gary and Rhoda Buford and husband, Binky; her son Layn Stout, III and his wife Nicki; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and extended family.  Macel was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Layn (Bunny) Stout, Jr.; four brothers; and one grandchild. 

Services for Macel will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, LA.  Burial will follow in New Hackberry Cemetery in Hackberry, LA.  The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 10 am until the time of service at 2 PM.
