Madora M. Lejeune

Madora Mary LeJeune, 83, of Westlake, LA died Thursday, November 12, 2015 in a local care facility surrounded by her loving family. Madora was born on February 27, 1932 to John and Arsene Babineaux in Creole, LA. She was known for her love of craft making, gardening, and painting. She was a lifelong member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. She is survived by her six children, Deanna Smith and husband Darrell of Lake Charles, LA, Vanessa Paschall and Kent George of Westlake, LA, Gerald Duhon of Lake Charles, LA, Felicia Suarez and husband David of Westlake, LA, Dorette Ksiezopolski and husband David of Avoca, PA, and Janell Thornton and husband Hank of Westlake, LA; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one sister, Miselda Tiritilli. She is preceded in death by her brother, Leslie John Babineaux; parents, John and Arsene Babineaux; son, Terry Duhon; first husband, Haywood Joseph Duhon; second husband Sheldon Lejeune; and one grandchild, Erin Duhon. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, November 16, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM until time of service at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake, LA. Deacon Caraway will officiate services.
