Magdalene Marie Martin

Magdalene Marie Martin, 76, of Lake Charles died at 8:02 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at a local healthcare facility.

Mrs. Martin was a native and life resident of Lake Charles.  She attended Rosteet Junior High School and St. Charles Academy.  She was a beverage supervisor at local casinos for many years.  

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James Martin of Lake Charles

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel James Janice; sister, Lillian Gobeil Morris; brother, Joseph Cyril Gobeil and her parents, Neil and Cecile Fabacher Gobeil.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary service beginning at 6:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2023 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, July 17, 2023 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.  Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate.
