Magen Pierce

Magen Brooke Pierce, 32, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Magen was born in Lake Charles and resides in Sulphur. Magen graduated from Sulphur High School in 2009. She began her career as a dental hygienist and finished her career with Pumpelly’s Tire in Lake Charles. Magen had a passion for officiating volleyball for the surrounding schools and advocating in the community for various organizations.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Reid Pierce; mother, Rhonda Floyd (Rickey Manuel); father, Kenneth Wilhite; sisters, Amy Higgins (Leigh) and Brittany Donovan (Joshua); step brothers, Matt Cormier (Amy) and Johnathan Manuel; grandparents, Rayburn Fontenot (Gail) and William Wilhite (Imelda); along with five nephews (Gabe, Noah, Luke, Rory and Archie); and 2 nieces (Alice and Mary-Katherine).

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Aunt Cindy Wilhite; and Uncle Layton Thibodeaux Sr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday January 23, 2024 from 4-8pm at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff located at 2171 North Hwy 171 in Moss Bluff with a rosary at 6pm. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 10am at St. Theodore Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Aubrey Guilbeau. Burial will follow at New Ritchie Cemetery on Clyde Delaney Road in Moss Bluff.
