Maggie Ruth Smith

Maggie Ruth Smith, 34 of Vinton passed away on August 20, 2012 in her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 12 noon at Antioch Baptist Church in Edgerly, LA with Rev. Steve Shirley officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 12-9 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Edgerly, La. and will resume on Wednesday at 9 a.m.at the church until time of service. Maggie was a native and life-long resident of Vinton. She attended Antioch Baptist Church in Edgerly, LA. Maggie is survived by her boyfriend, James Blair of Vinton; three sisters, Geraldine Chavarin and husband, Clemente of Vinton, Margaret Melder and husband, Brian and Darlene DeVille all of Sulphur; two half-sisters, Vonda Childs and Rhonda Dickerson and husband, Gary all of Westlake; and numerous other nieces, nephews and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Judy DeVille; sister, Tina Billedeaux; and nephew, Allen Billedeaux.
