Marjorie Trahan Marjorie Trahan, 79 of Sulphur passed away on December 9, 2013 in a local hospital. Marjorie was a Christian person who loved reading the Bible, listening to gospel music and watching gospel movies. She was loved by everyone and everyone loved her. Marjorie loved to cook, camp, fish and her favorite hobby was cleaning the house. She loved when her babies spent the night with her and they could do no wrong. Marjorie was a saints fan, a hard worker and she was Michaels Guardian Angel. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Sundy Welch and husband, Jaime of Sulphur and Vickie Montgomery of Westlake; sons, Michael Trahan and wife, Judy of Carlyss and Mickey Trahan of Jennings; 30 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and a special niece, Wanda Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Trahan; son, Gary W. Trahan, Sr.; daughter, Veronica F. Trahan; parents, Willie and Edna Darbonne; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lamar Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Thursday at 8 a.m. until time of the service.
