Malcom Roy Mac Leger

Malcolm Roy "Mac" Leger, 55, of Lake Charles, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012.

Mr. Leger was a life resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of Barbe High School and worked primarily as a Truck Driver in the Construction industry. He enjoyed fishing and shrimping, riding motorcycles with his friends and especially loved participating in Poker Runs. Mr. Leger's greatest times were cook outs and gatherings of family and friends.

He leaves to honor his memory, his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Leger of Lake Charles; son, Malcolm Roy Leger, II of Moss Bluff; two daughters, Courtney Helene Leger of Moss Bluff and Heather Nicole Mott of Lake Charles; two grandchildren, Malcolm Leger, III and Tabitha Sonnier, both of Lake Charles; two brothers, Larry Robert Leger and wife Stephanie and Kevin Blane Leger and wife Judy, all of Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Joseph Leger and sister, Nancy Elizabeth Leger.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate. Interment will follow in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation Saturday will be from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
