Malessa Hightower

On April 25, 2024, Malessa B Hightower’s heart pumped its final beat. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Mae and Lester Bueche. They were all devout Christians of the Jehovah Witness faith. She married Frederick A. Hightower, Jr. and they resided in Connecticut, Arizona, Texas and Georgia during their marriage and had two sons, Ryan and Nealon Hightower. She was a Memaw to nine grandchildren and one great grandchild all of which she was extremely proud of and who brought her great joy.  Malessa had a very deep faith and a close connection to her congregation and stayed close with them always. Malessa was a talented and passionate artist who always encouraged creativity in her loved ones. She was a sweet and compassionate soul who brought light with her to all she encountered right to the very end. She will be missed by many but never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses located at 857 Sweeney Lane, Sulphur, LA 70663. A zoom link is available for those who cannot attend by contacting the Kingdom Hall.
