Mamie Alberta Miller

Mamie Alberta Miller, 77, of Lake Charles died at 2:04 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. Miller was born on July 2, 1936 in Tallahassee, FL and moved to Lake Charles in 1955. She enjoyed genealogy and she enjoyed playing at the casino. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 59 years, Richard Miller; a daughter, Debbie Bellard and husband Vernon; four sons, Richard Miller, Jr. and wife Inzsia of Grand Prairie, TX, George Miller and wife Deborah, and Charles and Frank Miller all of Lake Charles; four brothers; three sisters; thirteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Travis Lanier will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will begin on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
