Margaret Ann Carter

Margaret Guillory Carter,82, of Sulphur, LA passed away on April 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born in Vinton, LA to David and Beulah Trahan. She loved her pets, flowers, and most of all loved being with her family and will be dearly missed by all. Margaret was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her four children, Dennis Guillory and wife JoAnn, Dore Quelle and husband Don, Dottie Hebert and husband Dewey, and Deanna Perkins and husband Kevin; stepson, Bill Carter; 11 grandchildren;17 great grandchildren; and 2 siblings, Grace Hebert, and Dorothy Toney.

Margaret was preceded in death by her two husbands, J.D. Guillory and Jack Carter; parents, David and Beulah Trahan; son, Daniel Guillory; and one brother, Michael Trahan.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake, LA. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake. Fr. Jenesh Joseph will officiate services.
