Margaret E. Cart Willeford

Margaret BeBe Cart Willeford, 63, of Sulphur, passed away on June 9th at Methodist Hospital in Houston after an extended illness.

BeBe, as she was known to friends and family, was born in Crowley, LA on August 22, 1949 to Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Taylor Cart. She retired from the Social Security Administration in 2011 after 21 years as Claims Representative. She was a graduate of Cal State Bakersfield with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.

Aside from her family, to which she dedicated her life, she loved reading, gardening, history, and pretty much anything with a British accent.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Cart, her sister Suzanne Cart and her son Zach Willeford.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband of forty-four years, Lee Willeford; sons, Beau and Mike Willeford; brothers Mike Cart, Andrew Cart, and Steve Cart; mother, Mrs. Z. T. Cart; sister Catherine Smith, as well as nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 12 at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held, following a Rosary, at 2:00 PM with Father Aubrey Guilbeau officiating.
