Marget Hatsfelt

Marget Felma Cox Hatsfelt, 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

Mrs. Hatsfelt was a mighty prayer warrior and was a longtime member of Sale Street Baptist Church. She loved her family second only to Christ. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In recent years, she spent her time counting money from offerings and folding programs for Sunday service. Mrs. Hatsfelt had a green thumb and her flowers were beautiful, her favorite being big pots of petunias.

Mrs. Hatsfelt is survived by her children, Bonita Hatsfelt Crawford and husband Paul, Brian Hatsfelt and wife Janis and Wesley Hatsfelt; siblings, Jean Whittington, Jerry Cox, and Patricia Russell; grandchildren, Charles Crawford, Adam Crawford, Patrick Crawford, Caitlin Crawford, Eric and Breanna Hatsfelt, Natalie Bowers and Trent Bowers; great-grandchildren, Patricia Crawford and Caleigh Royer; and numerous nieces and nephews on the Cox and Hatsfelt families.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Hatsfelt; parents, George and Golda Mae Cox; five brothers sisters, Fitz Cox, Mike Cox, Don Cox, Cora Fuller, and Marion Cox.

Her funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Randy Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.

Pallbearers for the service will be Charles Crawford, Adam Crawford, Patrick Crawford, Eric Hatsfelt and Trent Bowers.
