Margie Dailey

We are heartbroken to share that Margie Jean Dailey, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on March 6, 1937, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Margie touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm spirit.

Margie proudly spent her career as an Account Representative in the banking industry, always bringing warmth and kindness to her work. She had a special ability to make everyone feel at ease, and her love for her family was unmatched. She will long be remembered for her love of singing and cooking.

She leaves behind her son, Keith Green and his wife, Tina, granddaughter, Meagan Green; grandson, Christopher Green (Vanessa); great-granddaughter, Valerie Green; and sister, Janet Cress. The love she shared with her family will resonate for generations to come.

Preceded in her death by parents George and Eugenia Ash, brother's Newell Ash, Bobby Ash, Herman Ash, Glen Ash, Gordon Ash and sisters AnnaBelle Bailey, Elaine Marsh and Lois Rodrigue.

The family has entrusted cremation arrangements to Johnson Funeral Home and will be having a private family service at a later date.
