Margie Lea Dunman

Margie Lea Dunman, 87, of Lake Charles, died Sunday December 21, 2014 at a local hospital with her family at her side following an extended illness. Mrs. Dunman was a native of Tonkawa, OK and longtime resident of Lake Charles. She was raised in the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker and seamstress who enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and being a part of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Wilkenson and Edith Edna Neal Hutsell; sisters, Marguerite Hutsell, Shirley Ann Hutsell and Marie Babcock. She leaves to honor and cherish her memories, her beloved husband of 45 years, James Douglas Dunman; son, Ray Riley, Enid, OK; daughters, Jammie Collins, Lake Charles, and Linda Block, Essexville, MI; niece, Sarita LaBove, Sweetlake; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM today at Johnson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM today at the New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff with the Rev. Jerod Grissom officiating.
