Marguerite Marceaux

Marguerite Marceaux, beloved wife of husband Newton Marceaux of Lake Charles, La., passed away at 6:15 am on August 20, 2013 from complications of a stroke.

Friends and family all mourn the loss of the sweetest woman around who everyone knew as MOM. Her frequent greeting, Hey Honey will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. It has been said that she never turned anyone away for a good meal and a soft bed. She will truly be missed.

Marguerite is survived by Her Husband of 59 years Newton, Three children Fran Pousson (husband Jimmy), Chris Marceaux (wife Jamie) and Bruce Marceaux (wife Beth); eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her father and mother Mr. Mrs. Leo Comeaux of Kaplan and her brother Dr. J L. Comeaux of New Iberia.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Alan Trouille will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 AM until the start of the service on Thursday.
