Maria Anna Trahan

Maria Anna Trahan, 82, passed away on September 27, 2022 in a local care facility.

She was born on December 17, 1939 in Raceland, Louisiana to Clarence Pierre Boudreaux, Sr. and Clara Savoie Boudreaux. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her Bible, tending to her flowers, and drinking coffee on her porch while watching her chickens.

She is survived by her children, Albert Joseph Trahan (Sheila) and Kathy Leblanc; son-in-law, Michael Marcotte; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Kerry Bernard; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and prayed for daily.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Bobby Ray Trahan, Sr.; son, Bobby Ray Trahan, Jr.; daughter, Lori Nell Marcotte, and sisters, Beverly Dimarco and Sarah Bumgarden.

Her funeral service will be held at Topsy Baptist Church on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10 am under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Lloyd Carroll will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Birdnest Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 4 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Friday from 9 am until the start of the service.
